Milton Safehouse

CAS, located in Arnprior, Ontario, is launching a CAS safe house for women with children, addressing the critical need for safe housing for Black women and children experiencing domestic violence in Halton. We aim to empower Black women in Milton by building a brighter future together through providing safe shelter and resources.

One of the biggest challenges Black women with children face  violence in Milton is the lack of safe houses. Our Safehouse aims to fill this gap, providing a secure environment and support system for those in need.

We need 10 rooms urgently. People can get involved with the Milton Safehouse by volunteering, donating, or seeking assistance.

Smira came from Sudan with two children to join her brother. After 6 months, her brother became a source of threat for the children. We managed to host Smira for 8 months until she worked and became able to support her family.

Help us to save more women like Smira .
